United Airlines Internship
ABOUT
During my internship with United Airlines, I supported initiatives within the In-Flight Customer Experience team, contributing to projects focused on employee engagement, customer experience insights, and flight attendant recognition. I entered the role new to corporate project management, but quickly adapted by learning systems, processes, and cross-functional workflows while supporting real, high-impact initiatives across the organization.

OBJECTIVE
My objective during this internship was to gain hands-on experience in project coordination, stakeholder collaboration, and data-driven decision-making while contributing meaningful work that supported United’s people and brand. I actively sought opportunities to learn, take ownership of tasks, and support initiatives that strengthened morale, recognition, and connection across airline bases.
Core Responsibilities:
Project Coordination: Maintained weekly action-item trackers and ensured progress updates were accurate and visible to stakeholders.
Communications: Authored and supported internal weekly newsletter and design promotion materials for team.
Data Analysis: Exploring ways to add maps, AI-generated concept art, and collaborative Google Docs for deeper engagement.

High Five Login Campaign: Supported this project by authoring a newsletter about the updates on the campaign for flight attendants.
High Five Exclusive Experience: Assisted in the planning and execution of a large-scale recognition event at Universal Studios for flight attendants
High Five Base Roadshow: Aided recognition efforts by planning and coordinating events. Collaborated with internal teams and external partners to ensure a positive employee experience.
Volunteer Work
Throughout my internship, I’ve had the pleasure of participating in volunteer opportunities that allowed me to give back to the community.
Cardz for Kids
Volunteered with Cardz for Kids by creating handwritten cards for children in hospitals and shelters. This experience emphasized the power of small, thoughtful gestures and how creativity and compassion can bring comfort during difficult times.
Shedd Aquarium Beach Clean-Up
Participated in a shoreline clean-up in partnership with the Shedd Aquarium, helping remove debris from Lake Michigan. Collaborated with fellow volunteers to support environmental conservation and contribute to a cleaner, healthier public space.
CARA Chicago – Mock Interview Event
Supported CARA Chicago’s mock interview event by assisting job seekers with interview preparation. Helped participants practice responses, receive feedback, and build confidence as they prepared to reenter or advance in the workforce.
